A Spin on Tradition

An Interior Décor Profile

Rooted in classic design we have conceived the interior décor of this home to have a timeless look with a contemporary feel.

The budget was tight so this project is great example of tactical spending. Great design doesn’t have to equate to a big budget. It’s knowing where to invest & where to save so to achieve maximum impact with your interior decor.

For the interior we focused on the big two, the kitchen & Bathroom. For the design of the kitchen cabinets we specified profiled doors for a traditional feel and a palate of warm Grey & classic white, Corian benchtops and invested in some beautiful Carrara Marble mosaic splashback tiles going with a contemporary hexagon shape.

The Bathroom is small in this home but it leaves a big impression, with iconic white Subway tiles we have opted for a charcoal grout and dressed the vanity with a black rimmed circular mirror.

Furnishing wise we splashed out on interior décor items such as a show stopping Teal velvet lounge for the living room, stunning black Windsor chairs in the Dining room and beautiful Florence Broadhurst bedlinen in the Master Bedroom. Combined with some gorgeous artwork and calling on our frugal companions like Ikea for some of the staple furniture items we have created a beautiful home with a classic feel, alot of character.
